For Grade 8: Learners who have completed Grade 7 (CBC) or Standard 7 (844 system — with assessment) from any accredited primary school.
For Grade 9: Learners who have completed Grade 8 from a recognised Junior Secondary or are transitioning from Standard 8 under the KCPE-to-CBC bridge pathway.
